Zambia's Oldest and Largest National Park
Kafue National Park
Kafue National Park is Zambia's oldest and one of the largest national parks in Africa. The Kafue has remained largely untouched and today, 67 percent of the park is designated as ‘wilderness area’, where only walking safaris can be conducted. The Busanga Plains in the north are regarded as the jewel of the Kafue and the area is synonymous with the large herds of red lechwes and buffaloes, accompanied by all the major predators.
