Liwonde National Park
Located at the southern tip of Lake Malombe in Malawi's south, Liwonde National Park is the country’s most popular national park. Brimming with wildlife, traditional game viewing is enhanced by the River Shire flowing along the park's western border, allowing boating as well as walking and 4x4 safaris. Wildlife includes large elephant, hippo and crocodile concentrations, leopards and black rhinos. In 2017, African Parks reintroduced elephants, lions and cheetahs to Liwonde.
