Sulphur lakes and acid ponds
Danakil Depression's Dallol

Bubbling volcanoes light up the night sky. Sulfur springs in stupefying shades of neon green and yellow hiss forth from the rocky terrain. Camel trains cross the ancient salt pans as far as the eye can see. At over 150 metres below sea level, the Danakil Depression is also the hottest and most inhospitable place on Earth.
