Located between the Amazon, Atlantic Forests and Pantanal, the Cerrado is the largest savanna region in South America. Lurking among the arid grasslands and shrubbery one finds such large mammals as the jaguar, maned wolf, giant anteater, giant armadillo and marsh deer.
