Infants up to 5 years old

We arrange high quality family safaris in malaria-free areas mainly in South Africa and Kenya. The safari lodges we use offer baby-sitting services while the parents are out on game drive or enjoying a private dinner. Children's clubs and arts and crafts and games are also offered.

Children aged 6 to 12

Bushwalks are safe and highly educational and children enjoy ticking off their animal and bird lists. There are also junior ranger training programmes for more enthusiastic ones and safari guides can take them to hides overlooking waterholes where they can draw and paint animals that visit.

Children aged 13 and above

Generally children 13 and above are able to join most adult activities and those who develop a passion for wildlife can spend more time with their safari guide (and sit beside the guide during game drives) to further enhance their experience.

Family accommodation

The safari camps and lodges we use will have family rooms - usually larger rooms, or two rooms or luxury tents with an interleading bathroom. There are also several stunningly beautiful safari houses or villas that can be rented by families, or several families traveling together, and these safari houses come with private vehicles and safari guides, chefs and butlers.
