Meet Guide Reuben – Zarafa Camp, Botswana

IMG_2855 Mr. Reuben Mojoo, he was born in the north of the Okavango Delta, now he lives in Maun with his wife and children.
He has been guiding for ten years. Reuben reminds us of an elephant, because it has a good memory. His most exciting guiding moment was seeing an elephant giving birth. His goal is to run his own company. He feels the biggest challenge facing conservation is conflict with wild animals, mainly elephants and lions as well as poor management of resources; money that is generated in conservation is not distributed equitably. And the biggest opportunity in conservation is money available for projects, including expansion especially in the north is the creation of peace park between Botswana, Angola, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, a great transfrontier Park called KAZA. (Apakavango Lozambezi Peace Park)

Come meet Reuben at Zarafa!
