It’s a little over 10 years ago now that March 3 ^rd was declared United Nations World Wildlife Day. It’s an auspicious day, having been the date the Convention of International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) was signed in 1973. Technology in conservation has come a long way since then. This is a global 24 hours to recognise the importance of wildlife and biodiversity along with the benefits and beauty we’re able to derive from nature.
