Is there electricity at the lodges?

Just like in Asia, electricity in most of Latin American destinatinons we operate in is 220/240 volts, except for Ecuador which operates on 120 volts (just like the U.S.) and Brazil which operates on dual voltage 120/240 volts. Most lodges are connected to an electrical supply and all the boats we use for our luxury cruises will have adequate battery charging facilities. Solar lighting (backed up by batteries) is becoming more common, with lodges having a generator, which runs part of the day (morning and late evening when guests are out on their activities). In lodges running on solar power you will not be able to use a hairdryer.
