At most lodges, drinks are included in the tariff. This includes unlimited bottled or filtered water, soft drinks, local beers, local wines and spirits (except in certain lodges where drinks are sometimes charged separately).
Imported drinks, for example, champagne, fine wines, premier scotch and other liqueurs, if available, are normally for your own account. These are typically inexpensive in US dollar terms.
Hotels usually operate on a room only or bed and breakfast basis.
